- Description
- The proposed contract action is for services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Guam Medical Waste Management, LLC on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) to Pick Up / Transport and dispose of Regulated Medical Wastes at Bldg 48-1, of the U.S. Naval Hospital Guam and its two off-site branch medical and dental clinics. The contractor will pick up regulated medical wastes (RMW) at the Medical Waste Disposal Facility, Building No. 48-1, three times per week (or as needed). This will be Firm-Fixed Price contract. The period of performance for this contract is one year. Period of performance will begin 01 September 2014 thru 31 August 2015. All firms responding to this notice must be registered with SAM (System Award Management) website www.sam.gov. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the Government. This request is for commercial services prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.1. This notice is Set-Aside for Small Business. No phone calls please.
