- PACKAGING AND SHIPPING REQUIREMENTS The United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center has a requirement, and is requesting quotations for the following part: (1) NSN: 6115-01-F11-2357 PART NO: UCM224F13 ITEM: GENERATOR, SHIPS (ELECTRICAL END) DESCRIPTION: GENERATOR IS 450 VOLT RATED AND SHALL BE CONFIGURED WITH THE ITEMS LISTED. SAE 2, 11.5" FLEX PLATE, PMG, MX341 AUTOMATIC VOLTAGE REGULATOR, HEATERS 110/120 VA, IP-23 60 DEG MARINE LOUVERS, RFI MODULE, PAINTED BLACK. WHEN PURCHASING, USE MODEL OR P/N: UCM224F13 AND ENSURE IT IS SUPPLIED WITH UC22 DROOP KIT AND MEETS THE FOLLOWING SPECS: BASE KVA RATING: 75 BASE KW RATING: 60 HERTZ: 60 RPM: 1800 VOLTS: 450 PHASE: 3 AMPS RATING: 96 PF: 0.8 DUTY RATING: CONTINUOUS EXCITATION VOLTS: 36 EXCITATION AMPS: 1.8 AMBIENT TEMP: 40C ENCLOSURE: IP23 MARINE INSULATION CLASS: H STATOR WINDING: 311 STATOR CONNECTION: SERIES STAR AUTOMATIC VOLTAGE REGULATOR: NUPART MX341 QUANTITY: 4 EA MFG: NEWAGE LTD. No substitutions will be accepted. It is anticipated that a non-competitive sole source purchase order shall be awarded as a result of this synopsis/solicitation. It is the government's belief that only Cummins LTD and/or their authorized distributors can obtain the required technical and engineering data, and genuine OEM parts, required to successfully provide these items. Concerns having the expertise and required capabilities to provide these items are invited to submit complete information discussing the same within two (2) calendar days from the day this notice is posted. The information submitted must include a letter from the OEM verifying the offeror is an authorized distributor, and verifying the OEM will supply only genuine OEM parts. The items are used on various US Coast Guard vessels. All items will be individually packaged and marked IAW SP-PP&M-001. Inspection and acceptance shall take place at Destination after verification of preservation, individual packaging and marking requirements and confirmation of no damage during transit. Failure to comply with packaging requirements will result in rejection and nonpayment. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination to USCG Surface Forces Logistics Center, Baltimore MD. Required Delivery Date- August 29, 2014 NOTE: NO DRAWINGS, SPECIFICATIONS OR SCHEMATICS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THIS AGENCY. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format outlined in FAR Subpart 12.6, FAC2005-74 (MAY, 2014) and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Please send all quotations to Erika R. Wallace, Purchasing Agent erika.r.wallace@uscg.mil. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 332999 and the Small Business Size Standard is 500. This synopsis/solicitation is issued pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. The resultant purchase order will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by the Agency. Companies must have valid DUNS numbers and be registered with System for Award Management (www.sam.gov) and shall provide the company Tax Information Number (TIN) with their offer. The closing date and time for receipt of quote is July 23, 2014 at _1_ p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
