- Description
- Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Explosive Ordinance Disposal Technical Division (NSWC IHEODTD) has a requirement for a Universal data acquisition system. Under solicitation N00174-14-T-0097, NSWC IHEODTD, intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price contract on a sole source basis to National Instruments Corporation (NI), 11500 N Mopac Expressway Austin, TX 78759-3504. The NAICS Code is 334118; FSC code is 7010. The bombproof facilities require National Instruments data acquisition system hardware for the purposes of creating a test technology network in R33 test sites. The required hardware/software platform is needed to interface with existing NI hardware and software, which contains proprietary information. In addition the requirement to have an expandable/programmable DAQ with image based software and a modular hardware design that can be used as a complete system for a wide array of testing parameters from extremely slow sampling for a very long range of time (hours) to very fast sampling (2+Ghx) over a very short time (msec), all with 16 bit resolution or higher also makes NI the only company that can meet all of our DAQ needs. The hardware components needed for this are proprietary items only made by National Instruments. The contractor is responsible for replacing failing and outdated acquisition hardware, standardization of tools and toolsets across R33 and improvement of multiple information technology and information assurance aspects as specified in N00174-14-T-0097. The delivery schedule for this effort is approximately one month after the contract is awarded.
