Micro Systems, Inc./Model 41 C-Band Test Set, P/N AY03500-4 Combined Synopsis/Solicitation - F1SEAD4133BG01 THIS IS A BRAND NAME OR EQUAL ACQUISITION: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and an additional written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Supplements, Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-74 and DFARs Change Notice (DPN) 20140624. NAICS is 334515 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This acquisition is a BRAND NAME OR EQUAL and is a 100% small business set-aside acquisition. The Air Force Test Center (AFTC), at Edwards AFB, CA is soliciting for a Micro Systems, Inc./Model 41 C-Band Test Set, P/N AY03500-4 as follows: Minimum Salient Characteristics Band Name or Characteristic Minimally Acceptable Or Equal Criteria Quantity Micro Systems, Inc./Model 41 C-Band Test Set, P/N AY03500-4 The C (G)-Band Beacon Test Set is a portable test unit designed to provide required pre-mission performance verification of the C-Band Radar Transponders installed on Aircraft. One (1) Each Additional Minimum Salient Characteristics Transmitter: Frequency: 5.4 GHz to 5.9 GHz Frequency Adjustment: 1.0 MHz steps Frequency Stability: +/- 2 MHz Pulse Width: Single Pulse: 0.5 sec +/- 0.2 sec Double Pulse: 0.5 sec +/- 0.1 sec Power Output Direct: 0 dBm to <-70 dBm calibrated output to test Transponder receiver sensitivity (adjustable in 1 dB steps) Power Output Radiate: > 30 dBm PGRF: 1000 Hz (fixed) Pulse Code Spacing: 3 sec to 15 sec in 0.1 sec steps Operation Modes: Radiate and Direct Receiver: Frequency: 5.4 GHz to 5.9 GHz Frequency Adjustment: 1.0 MHz steps RF Bandwidth: 5.35 GHz to 5.95 GHz Measurement Accuracy: +/- 2 MHz Environmental: Temperature: Operating: -20 C to +65 C Storage: -40 C to +70 C Power Requirements: Input Voltage: 115 +/- 5 VAC, 60 Hz Single Phase Functional Tests: Receiver Sensitivity Receiver Frequency Double Pulse Code Spacing Transmitter Frequency Transmitter Pulse Width Transmitter Output Power Relay Delay Delivery: 16 WARO Place of delivery, performance, and acceptance is FOB Destination, Edwards AFB, CA 93524. Offerors are required to submit with their quote enough information for the Government to evaluate the minimum requirements detailed in this synopsis. OFFERORS MUST COMPLY WITH FAR 52.204-99 System for Award Management Registration (DEVIATION) INTERESTED OFFERORS CAN ACCESS THE CLAUSES BY INTERNET URL: http://farsite.hill.af.mil.
