- NOTICE: Intend to Award as Sole Source. United States Army Signal Network Enterprise Center, Fort Belvoir (USASNEC-FB or NEC-FB) has a requirement to perform preventive maintenance, software updates and an Information Assurance Technician and information assurance support on the National Capital Region Land Mobile Radio (NCR LMR), located at Washington Signal Center, Bldg 766, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060. DESCRIPTION: The Mission & Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Belvoir, on behalf of the United States Army Signal Network, Fort Belvoir, VA, has a requirement for preventive maintenance, software update, Information Assurance Technician and information assurance support, under NAICS: 811213. The following has been determined as minimum requirements needed: System Infrastructure Maintenance: 24/7 on-call maintenance support and repair and replacement of fixed infrastructure equipment as needed. LMR System Software FX and SUMS2 Support: Includes performance enhancements, new and/or optional features, latest software releases and updates no less than once per quarter and as requested. LMR System Information Assurance Support: Includes the monitoring of all Army IA Vulnerability Alerts, patches, updates, and validation of all patches, bulletins, and security alerts. The subject requirement is in support of the National Capital Region Land Mobile Radio (NCR LMR) System infrastructure. The MICC-FB intends to award as sole source contract extension to Harris Corporation, 221 Jefferson Ridge Parkway, Lynchburg, VA 24501, for the timeframe of 25 July 2014 thru 24 November 2014. Harris Corporation has been determined the only source deemed capable of fulfilling this requirement, due to the proprietary nature of the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Vendors may submit a capability statement which shall be reviewed by the Agency.
