- Description
- The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation at any time. This project for 4th Ave N on Malmstrom Air Force Base near Great Falls, Montana, is to remove conductors from an underground ductbank, conduit, and manhole configuration, remove manholes and install above-ground sectionalizers (junction cans), and replace conductors in the existing ductbank and conduit system. Portable generators will be required to be connected and maintained to provide power to facilities that are without during the duration of the construction. The Request for Proposal will be available on or about 1 Aug 2014. The Performance Period for this project is sixty (60) calendar days after receiving the Notice to Proceed. The Notice to Proceed will be issued within 10 days after award of the solicitation. This acquisition is set aside to 100% small business in accordance with the Small Business Jobs Act of 2010. The Request for Proposal will be available by Electronic Transmission only at: http://www.fbo.gov. Potential contractors must be currently registered in the System for Award Management to be eligible for award. (See Internet Site www.sam.gov). All responsible sources must submit an offer good for 120 calendar days, which shall be considered by the agency. Potential contractors must also be currently registered with ORCA. (See Internet Site: http://orca.bpn.gov/). The magnitude of this project is between $500,000,000.00 and $1,000,000.00.
