- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD) intends to issue a sole source firm-fixed price contract for 100 each Fire Suppression Kits, Part Number 404504, to Kidde Technologies Inc d/b/a Kidde Dual Spectrum, 4200 Airport Dr. NW, Wilson, NC 27896, CAGE Code 05BU0. The Government does not possess the technical data package (TDP). The TDP is proprietary to the original manufacturer (Kidde Technologies Inc.). All interested sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by this agency. The Statutory Authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition for this action is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented in FAR6.302-1(a)(2), quote mark Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies and Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements quote mark. This requirement will be negotiated on a sole source basis, solicitation W911N2-14-R-0023 will be released O/A 18 July 2014 and close O/A 8 August 2014. The annotated closing date for the solicitation is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the release of the solicitation.
