- This is Pre-Solicitation Notice as required in FAR Part 5- Publicizing Contract Actions. There will be one solicitation: Request for Proposal will be issued for: NSN: 9535-01-569-2367: (70876) P/N: 46319-028, (OFPA5), P/N: 880173030. These are not used in the commercial sector and are proprietary to Bath Iron Works (70886), P/N: 46319-028 & Safariland, LLC (0FPA5), P/N: 880173030. The solicitation: Request for Proposal will be issued July 17, 2014 and the closing will be: July 31, 2014. The solicitation will be unrestricted utilizing other than full & open competition for a Firm Fixed Price contract with no options. Only FOB pricing will be accepted. In order to receive award; regardless of the dollar value you must be registered in (CCR). The Sam website may be accessed at: https://www.sam.gov. Copies of the solicitation will not be available until the solicitation issue date. The solicitation will be posted on DIBBS, https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp/rfprec.aspx?sn=SPE8E514R0008 All responsible sources may submit a proposal(s) which shall be considering by DLA Troop Support. Anticipated issue date is July 17, 2014 and anticipated closing date is July 31, 2014. These dates are subject to change.
