- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Leonard Wood, MO (MICC-FLW) is posting a Sources Sought notice requesting information from contractors interested in providing Washed Gravel & River Sand; NAICS 212321 Construction Sand and Gravel Mining. In order for MICC-FLW to procure these services in the most efficient manner, industry input is vitally important. Your response to the following questions, and providing any other information you feel would be valuable, will aid MICC-FLW in making a determination as to the procurement approach that will maximize competition and fulfill the requirement in the most effective way possible. Please note - this is NOT a request for proposals, pricing or capability packages. Question #1: Is your firm capable of providing the following types of materials: 3/8 Inch Brown Washed Pea Gravel 1 Inch Brown Washed Gravel 2 Inch Brown Washed Gravel 2-6 Inch Oversized Washed Brown Rock Washed River Sand Question #2: Is your firm classified as a small business under the listed NAICS and applicable size standard? Question #3: Please identify what (if any) socioeconomic status your firm possesses (Small Business, HUBZone, WOSB, SDVOSB, etc.).
