- NOTICE: An amendment will be issued within the next few days (NLT 23 Jul 2014) that will change this IDIQ contract to a multiple award versus a single award and it will include all the districts in the National Forests of Alabama. At least 10 days will be given to submit proposal after issuance of this amendment. A site visit will be held on Jul 7, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Bankhead Ranger District Office. Individuals may participate via teleconference if unable to physically attend the meeting at 888-844-9904. Passcode: 8430195 For additional information please refer to Section L. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes for this acquisition are 561730 and 237990 with the small business size standard is $7.0 Million and $33.0 Million respectively. NAICS code 561730 with a small business size standard of $7 million will be used to determine the small business size as this has the lower standard and it is anticipated that the majority of the work performed under this contract will be services. The National Forests in Alabama (NFinAL) has a requirement for Trail Maintenance, Construction, and Assessment Services on wilderness and non-wilderness including motorized and non-motorized trails on the Bankhead Ranger District of the National Forests in Alabama, located in northwestern Alabama. There may be construction work requiring bonding. The contract will be for a base period, with four option years. The size standard for this solicitation is $7 million under NAICS code 115310. The solicitation will be set-aside for small business concerns. Solicitation should be available on this web site on or about Jun 18, 2014. If a site visit is held, information will be included in the solicitation. Offerors must register on the site in order to receive notification of changes to the solicitation. The offeror is responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation and any subsequent postings.
