- Revised Solicitation The Defense Logistics Agency, DLR Procurement Operations, Warner Robins, will acquire replenishment spare parts applicable to the C-130H aircraft using full and open competitive procedures. A Firm Fixed Price, IDIQ type contract with five 12 month ordering periods is contemplated. Basic year quantity is 50 - including 2 ea First Articles. The out years have a maximum quantity of 10 ea. The insurance policy portion of the basic year is 44 ea. No paper copies will be mailed. This acquisition will be processed in accordance with the Insurance Policy Buy Concept. The objective of the Insurance Policy Concept is to obtain the best possible price and performance without risking the failure of an unproven source to produce an acceptable item in a timely manner. The Insurance Policy Concept provides support during the time a new source is producing a first article/pre-production unit. Portions of the requirement may be restricted for award to a proven source. Numbered Note 22 applies only to the quantity identified as the mission essential quantity in the solicitation.
