- Questions & Answers DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES. NOTE: There has been one (1) amendment made to this solicitation. Please acknowledge by signing and returning all amendments prior to the response date. The contractor shall remove pump and motor #4 at Well #5, visually inspecting pump and motor for damage. Upon inspection, the contractor shall furnish various reports of their findings. Results of inspections and Government direction will dictate either repair or replacement of equipment. See attached Well #5, Pump #4 data sheet (ATCH 4). This purchase and installation shall comply with federal, state, local laws and regulations, commercial standards, manufacturer's specifications, National Electric Code (NEC), and this statement of work. All work accomplished shall be performed by appropriately qualified, certified personnel. A pre-proposal meeting and site visit will be held to facilitate an understanding of the requirement. See Addendum to FAR Clause 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items, which is contained in this solicitation.
