- The work consists of the removal of shoal material within the Barataria Bay Bar Channel, and satisfactory disposal thereof within the allowable Grand Terre Island disposal sites as shown on contract drawings. No significant dike work is required, but soft dikes (hay rounds) and canal plugging are required to train effluent waters. The estimated value of this work is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The solicitation will issue on or about 01 August 2014, and a bid opening date will be established in a future amendment. This is an UNRESTRICTED procurement. NAICS Code: 237990. The solicitation documents for this procurement will be posted on Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI).
