- Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract This is a notification that the Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed price contract under statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, quote mark Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements quote mark to Bold Technologies. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 335999, with a small business size standard of 500 Employees. The requirement is upgrade the current Personal Alarm Systems (PALS), monitoring centers in the USDB and Joint Regional Correctional Facility, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. The requirement for this contract is the following: 300 PALS 2 x PALS monitoring center CPU 2 x Alert Communicator Board ( RS232) PCI 2 x Crisis Controller CPU Watchdog 2 x Serial Receiver Assembly 2 x 19 quote mark LCD Monitor (Not Touch Screen) 2 x Logitech S-120 Speakers 2 x USB CPU Hardware Lock HASL HL - Max Micro 2 x PMT Programming Cable (USB) 2 x CPU Disc Drive Software Upgrade to Current Version of Crisis Controller (no charge - facility currently at 5.0x) Crisis Controller Upgrade - Unlimited Transmitters (previously purchased) Crisis Controller Upgrade - Network License for upgrade From 6 to 10 (previously purchased) Crisis Controller Software Basic Version. Includes license for One CPU and up to 50 Transmitters (previously purchased) PALS Basic Alert Monitoring Center. All Hardware is integrated and Software is preloaded prior to shipping. Crisis Controller Programming (Hourly) The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price contract and will commence upon award. This notice is not a request for quotations. The contractor identified is the only known source for the subject requirement. Reponses to this notification will be used to determine if bona fide competition exists. Any such responses must be in writing and include technical information. The Government will not pay for information submitted. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement action, based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
