- This is a pre solicitation notice to announce that the Department of Interior, National Park Service, Grand Teton National Park, Moose WY, has identified a requirement to solicit for the replacement of six deteriorating foundations on log cabins at the historic White Grass Dude Ranch in Grand Teton National Park. Five of the cabins will be raised and moved off of their existing foundations so the old foundations can be removed and new foundations and footers poured. Then the cabins will be moved back on their new foundations. Cabins 1159 will be lifted in place enough for the existing foundation to be removed and a new foundation to be installed. Foundations will be replaced at cabins 1159, 1161, 1162, 1163, 1164, and 1165. With the exception of cabin 1162, these are all sleeping cabins, and will ultimately be used as lodging for visiting students to the White Grass Dude Ranch preservation training center. The project magnitude is between $25,000 and $500,000. The NPS intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to award a firm fixed price contract. Vendors responding to the RFP must have documented proof that they have prior experience on projects similar in nature and extent. Prior experience with the National Park Service is beneficial, but not required. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 238110, the Small Business Size Standard is $14.0 Million (average gross revenue for the last three (3) years). The anticipated issuance date of the RFP is on or about August 1, 2014 with an anticipated closing date of September 1, 2014. The anticipated period of performance will be starting in October 2014 and completing by August 31, 2015. Note: there will NOT be a public bid opening for this requirement. Hard copies of the solicitation will NOT be issued. Solicitation packages may be obtained via FedBizOpps.gov. Active registration in SAM (System for Award Management) is mandatory to be granted an award. Any bidder, not yet registered, may do so via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov by following the online prompts / instructions. POC is Martin D.
