Construction Project: Seattle District requires maintenance hydraulic dredging of approximately 30,000 cubic yards of sediment from the downstream channel with placement on Jetty Island. If sufficient funding is available, optional items requiring an additional 20,000 cubic yards of sediment from the downstream channel with placement on Jetty Island, as well as maintenance hydraulic dredging of approximately 100,000 cubic yards of sediment from the upstream settling basin with disposal at the upland disposal site quote mark O quote mark, may be performed. The onsite performance period is 15 Oct 2014 through 15 Feb 2015. Location of the work is the Snohomish River in the city of Everett, Washington. The magnitude of construction is estimated to be between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The resulting contract will be firm-fixed-price. Solicitation Number W912DW-14-B-0009 will be posted to the FedBizOpps (FBO) website, www.fbo.gov, on or about 1 Aug 2014. The solicitation will be an Invitation for Bids. Bids will be due no sooner than 30 calendar days after actual solicitation issuance date. See the solicitation for details about bid opening. The solicitation is unrestricted and open to both large and small business concerns. The NAICS code for this procurement is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Construction, with an applicable small business size standard of $27,500,000 in average annual receipts.
