- Description
- SOW The U.S. Air Force is seeking preliminary information, for market research purposes only. This notice is NOT A Request for Proposal (RFP). We are looking for capable and reliable sources who may be interested in submitting a proposal for the procurement of repair services for R-11 aircraft refueling truck cargo tanks located within Al Udeid, Qatar Area of Responsibility (AOR), outside the continent of the U.S. (OCONUS). Since all of the work will be performed outside of the continental U.S. Interested parties shall provide documentation which illustrates capabilities to deliver all required vehicles as stated in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). The basic description of this requirement will include entering the JP-8 fuel cargo tank to repair any cracked welds on the tank baffles. The total number of weld repairs will vary for each truck, depending on the number of cracks within each weld. The contractor will examine each tank and identify all cracked welds. If a solicitation is released at a later date, a Firm-Fixed-Price, Multiple Award, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), contract type is being considered. Interested parties shall provide complete service details, brochures, and any other technical information with regard to their particular company to include company name, address, point of contact, email address, phone number, and fax number. Please submit your responses no later than 25 July 2014. Additionally, since this is a request for information only, your response shall not constitute an offer. The attached pricelist is solely to give potential vendors a description of the type of vehicles and quantities that we may need. Do NOT submit prices in your response. If the determination is made to conduct a limited competition, then only those companies who respond with a complete Capabilities Statement shall be considered for inclusion in the limited competition.
