- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to J.H. Fletcher & Company, 402 High Street, Huntington, WV 25705 for Feedback Drilling System with all specifications Drilling System: IQAN electronic drilling controls Hydraulic System: Solenoid controlled Hawe valve for rotation and feed SAE o-ring fittings in hydraulic components and control valves Hoses to be provided my Niosh Electrical System: Panel mounted stop switch at control station Panel mounted start switch located at drill controls Fletchbus control module with all connections Feed, rotation, RPM, position, and vacuum sensors Installation Assistance: On-site technical start up assistance Service assistance available from your local Fletcher representatives and factory engineers based in Huntington, WV This product capability will allow for accurate laboratory representation of drilling machine parameters used in the mining field. The system allows for optimized control of various parameters so that drilling machines are less likely to produce excess noise and dust while maintaining acceptable performance. This contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within ten (10) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
