- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Benning, Georgia is issuing a sources sought to determine the availability of potential small business firms. This is not a request for proposals or quotes. The information gathered will be used to make an informed business decision on how to procure this requirement. The Government is seeking business firms capable of providing installation and maintenance on the Getinge Reverse Osmosis Water Purification System. This system is used to purify and sterilize the water at the Harmony Church Dental Clinic at Fort Benning, Georgia. PURPOSE: The purpose of this Sources Sought is to seek interested Small Business firms (and any small business sub category such as but not limited to HubZone, Women Owned Small Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, and Economically Disadvantaged Women Owned Small Business) in order to reaffirm the initial research that it may be possible to set-aside for Small Business concerns. The preferred strategy is to procure this requirement as small business set aside. The Government will not award a contract based on this Sources Sought Notice, information received, not reimburse participants for information they provide. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR TECHNICAL OR COST PROPOSALS. This is a request for small business (and sub categories) firms interested in serving as prime contractors to submit a brief capability statement demonstrating how they could meet the requirements below: DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: This requirement has a Statement of Work Statement (SOW) stating the required services in terms and outcomes to be achieved. Services are required in order to comply with the Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) and the Safety and Health Requirements Manual EM 385-1-1. The activity provided the following description of the service: remove old steam generator and install new generator with piping. Retro fit the new generator with an automatic blow down fan. Connect new equipment to the Getinge 533DD Sterilizer, testing for proper operation. All parts to this Reverse Osmosis System are proprietary to Getinge Group. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. All responses must provide the following: 1. Name of firm with address, phone, email and point of contact, CAGE Code and DUNS 2. Business Size and state if your firm is classified by the Small Business Administration under the NAICS code 811219 3. Capability Statement 4. Authorization from Getinge Group to work on their proprietary system. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Responses to this announcement must be received no later than 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, Monday 28 July, 2014.
