Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Scope: Procurement of a portable, adjustable offloading ramp to be used within the boundaries of Camp Grayling to facilitate in the unloading of wheeled vehicles from trailers of varying heights. Requirements: Platform shall be structurally rated to handle vehicles up to 100,000 pounds Platform shall be constructed of steel framing and steel grating with removable handrails that has been sand blasted and painted to inhibit rust and corrosion Platform shall be 120 inches outside width, 240 inches outside length, 48 inches deck height with adjustable legs to accommodate different trailer heights. Ramp shall be structurally rated to handle vehicles up to 100,000 pounds Ramp shall be constructed of steel framing and steel that has been sand blasted and painted to inhibit rust and corrosion Ramp shall be 120 inches outside width, 116 inches inside width, 30 feet outside length, constructed to be attached and removed from platform for easy of portability Ramp will be able to be moved to any location needed on Camp Grayling This solicitation is not limited to pre-frabricated items; commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) will be considered if it meets the requirement.
