- This Sources Sought Notice is for market research purposes only. This is NOT a request for quotes or proposals. Request for Information (RFI) for Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) Directorate Of Material Management PURPOSE: The Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) is conducting this Request for Information (RFI) as market research to determine sources with competencies to locate obsolete or unavailable materials/parts. The companies should possess the ability to provide reliable parts to include hard to find, obsolete, or unavailable materials/parts. The Anniston Army Depot is seeking responses from all responsible sources, including large, and small business concerns. Small business concerns are defined under the associated North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this effort, 511210 Software Publishers; Size Standard is $25 Million. Please include your company's size classification and socio-economic status in any response to this notice. Responses to this notice must be submitted electronically to the Contract Specialist T. Responses must be received no later than 31 July 2014 at 4:00 PM (CDT). Interested vendors are requested to submit a statement of their ability to provide capabilities with respect to the following: Please describe your ability to provide real time inventory along with inventory traceability information, certification data, a purchase icon or other fields selected by the vendor. Anniston Army Depot personnel are required to validate that the material is traceable and certified prior to purchase. Please describe your organization's ability to validate that the service is linked to Government and Industry Data Exchange Program (GIDEP). GIDEP reports include suspected counterfeit reports, End of Life notices, and other reported part data managed by GIDEP. GIDEP is a cooperative activity between government and industry participants seeking to reduce or eliminate expenditures of resources by sharing technical information and prevention of unplanned expenditures Please describe your organization's ability to provide a system that is quote mark User Friendly, quote mark allowing the Material Requirements Planner (MRP) the ability to search the system for parts by National Stock Number (NSN), National Item Identification Number (NIIN), or Part Number (PN). Please describe that your service will provide a link directly to IHS/HAYSTACK. All Material Requirements Planners (MRP Planner) are required to utilize Haystack Gold. Please provide individual access for all 45 MRP Planners. Any service offering access to less than 45 individuals is not acceptable. Individual access is a necessity. RESPONSES: Responses should include: 1. Prospective firm's name, address, phone number, socioeconomic status and DUNS number 2. General information of firm's previous experience on at least two projects of a similar scope, complexity and value; including the title, location, brief description of work, and dollar value Responses should be quote mark short and to-the-point. quote mark This Request For Information (RFI) is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly.
