- The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Arcata Field Office has a requirement for a pre-commercial thinning project on 60 acres in the Lake Mountain Management Area (south of Kettenpaum) in Trinity County, CA. The Request for Quotes (RFQ) will be set-aside for Small Business. The North American Standard Industrial Classifications System (NAICS) Code is 115310, Support Activities for Forestry, with a small business size standard of $7M. Award will be based on BEST VALUE criteria available in the solicitation and one award will result as a Firm Fixed Price contract. Closing date for the RFQ is 5:00 pm (PDT), July 31, 2014. Period of Performance will be 60 days after Notice to Proceed. Pre-Bid site tour is scheduled for Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 8:00 a.m. Meeting place is the Bureau of Land Management, Arcata Field Office, 1695 Heindon Road, Arcata, CA 95521.
