- Solicitation Amendment FA8524-14-R-0004-0003 Packaging AFMC 158 FA8524-14-R-0004 Transportation DD 1653 FA8524-14-R-0004 Solicitation FA8524-14-R-0004 issued 14 July 2014 Item Unique Identification Checklist FA8524-14-R-0004 This acquisition is to obtain a firm fixed price requirements contract for the purpose of purchasing spares for the Swing Arm Flap Attachment applicable to the C-5 aircraft, NSN 1560-00-260-0156UC (Part Number: 4J33150-107A). The requirements contract will have a Basic performance period of up to two (2) years plus two (2) annual options. The Basic period will require First Article, unless a waiver is granted. The Government may choose to waive this requirement for first article approval test where supplies identical or similar to NSN 1560-00-260-0156 (including but not limited to NSN 1560-00-233-6098) have been previously furnished by the Offeror/Contractor and have been accepted by the Government. Delivery of First Article is to be within 365 days of award of contract. No work on the production quantity is to begin until receipt of the approval of the First Article. The Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) for the Production Quantity for the Basic period will be 10 each. The BEQ for Option I is 10 each. The BEQ for Option II is 10 each. Delivery is to be within 240 days of receipt of approval of First Article or Production Unit Delivery Order, whichever is later. Destination: The First Article and Production Quantities are to be delivered to Robins AFB, GA. This is a Total Small Business Set Aside as implemented by FAR Subpart 19.5. Data or rights are owned by the Government for this solicitation. Approximate issue date of solicitation is 14 July 2014. Approximate response date is 13 August 2014.
