- The Department of Veterans Affairs Kansas City VA Medical Center VAMC located at 4801 Linwood Blvd Kansas City Mo 64128 is seeking a single award to a responsible vendor to provide the following services. The Contractor shall provide all parts and labor to perform preventive maintenance, inspection, cleaning and replacement of defective components of three Model TT XL- 121-975 Tower Tech cooling towers, provide all ladders safety equipment and lifts if required to service the three Model TT XL- 121-975 Tower Tech cooling towers. Remove the media from the tower as prescribed in owner's manual all three towers are located on the roof of the Chiller plant at the Kansas City VA Medical Center mounted eight feet above the roof of the chiller plant. This a small business set aside procurement, all responding offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) data base. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238220 and the PSC is J041. All Offerors must submit their proposals electronically to arnold.payne@va.gov by the solicitation closing date 12:00 P.M. CST, on July 23, 2014. Responding offerors should field verify the units during a site visit scheduled with the facility point of contact Mr. Robert Cheatham at (816) 861-4700 X56997. All technical questions must be presented in writing to the Contracting Officer Arnold J. Payne, Arnold.payne@va.gov, 913 946-1969. Final questions must be received three (3) days before the proposal due date. The contracting officer will post the technical question responses through amendment two (2) days before the solicitation close date.
