- Redacted Sole Source Letter F1S10AL4177B001 NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT WITH Schneider Electric IT Corporation The Air Force Test Center (AFTC), Directorate of Contracting, Edwards Air Force Base, California, intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price purchase order, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 12-Acquisition of Commercial Items. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 811219. The following will be procured as follows: CLIN 1 Service to recommission Galaxy 3000 10 to 15 kva UPS Qty 1 CLIN 2 One standalone preventative maintenance or recertification visit for one UPS up to 40 KVA Qty 1 CLIN 3 One year Advantage Ultra Service Plan for one Galaxy 3000 10 to 15 kva UPS Qty 1 Lead time for evaluation is 90 days. Vendor will perform a diagnosis of the UPS unit, bring unit on line and be available for one year to perform maintenance as needed. The vendor shall furnish all equipment, material, and labor necessary to perform the required diagnosis. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR6.302. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may submit their interest and capability to the contract specialist below not later than 21 July 2014, 4:00 p.m., Pacific Standard Time. Based upon the responses to this notice, the Government will determine if this proposed acquisition should be opened to competition. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
