- LRSO RFI - Manufacturing Strategies The US Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Strategic Systems Division, Long Range Stand Off Branch (AFLCMC/EBBD) is conducting market research to determine the current state and uses of digitally driven manufacturing strategies and integrated capabilities that can dramatically reduce the cost and time of producing complex systems in an extended manufacturing enterprise. More specifically, LRSO is seeking information on how an interested contractor can support a Nuclear Cruise Missile program in the development through sustainment phases using Advanced Manufacturing Solutions. Advanced Manufacturing Solutions are an approach to system design with respect to manufacturing which utilizes Advanced Analytics; the use of computational analysis techniques, modeling tools, and uncertainty quantification during system design to accurately characterize reliability, producibility, affordability & maintainability across the lifecycle of a program.
