- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Walla Walla District in Walla Walla, Washington, has a requirement to furnish and install Elk Exclosure t-post wire fencing at Dworshak Dam. This synopsis is not a Request for Quotes (RFQ) or proposals (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. SUMMARY OF WORK: The following specifications pertain to the supply and install of fencing for Dworshak Dam. The NAICS code is 238990 and FSC code is S208. Salient characteristics will be in the solicitation. The contractor shall be required to deliver and install.71 miles of fencing, designed to exclude ungulates in moderately steep vegetated terrain. Map locations shall be provided. RFQ number W912EF14Q0221 will be issued in the near future. The closing date and time will be detailed in the RFQ and any amendments that may be issued. A site visit is set-up for July 22 at 1:00 PM at Grandad Campground. IMPORTANT NOTE: The FedBizOpps response date listed elsewhere in this synopsis is for FedBizOpps archiving purposes only. Conducting Business with the Government: In order for contractors to conduct business with the Department of Defense, the contractor must provide registration information to the System for Award Management Registration (SAM).
