Description
The work locations for base project and bid options of this contract are located in multiple locations within Dinosaur National Monument (DINO). The Green River District (A, B, G and I below) is closest to Jensen, UT, approximately 4 hours driving time east of Salt Lake City, UT. The Yampa District (C-F and H below), is closest to Dinosaur, CO, and is 5 hours driving time west of Denver, CO. **SITE VISIT** Meet at the Green River Campground Ranger Station, 9 am, Wednesday, July 9. North on State Highway 149 from Jensen, UT, 6 miles to the park entrance station, 3 miles further to the turnoff (left) to the Green River Campground. Bring lunch, water and be prepared for a long day driving to see between 8 and 10 worksites in both the Green River District (Utah) and Yampa District (Colorado). For past performance, include a minimum of three references for substantially similar work performed within the previous five years. The currency and relevance of the information, source of the information, context of the data, and general trends in contractor's performance shall be considered. The Government shall consider this information, as well as information obtained from any other sources, when evaluating the offeror's past performance. In the case of an offeror without a record of relevant past performance or for whom information on past performance is not available, the offeror may not be evaluated favorably or unfavorably on past performance. Technical approach evaluation shall include the level of experience and technical expertise of the individuals assigned to this project as well as approach towards thinning and its impact on tree health, aesthetics, visitor safety, and animal habitat. Include with your offer a statement addressing these factors and any other information you feel is relevant and will assist the Government in evaluating your technical approach and experience. Amendment #1 adds 4 attachments and extends the response time to 7/17/14 at 5PM MST.
