- Synopsis: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has a requirement to purchase and receieve retaining wall and cap blocks to replace the failing Chestnut Beach retaining wall for Lower Granite Natural Resources Management Section, Clarkston WA. Summary of Work: The successful quoter shall be required to source and ship the items listed above to the Lower Granite Natural Resource Office at the address and required date shown in the specified shipment and delivery information issued in the solicitation. Description of Requirement: This synopsis is not an Request for Quote (RFQ) nor a Request for Proposals (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only, and is not a commitment by the Government (No reply is necessary). Planned Announcement: RFQ number W912EF-14-Q-0246 will be issued on or about 15th July 2014, but may be issued prior to or after 15th July 2014. Closing response date: Approximately 14 days from the date the solicitation is issued, the actual closing due date and time will be detailed in the RFQ once issued. No site visit has been scheduled Important Note: The FedBizOpps response date listed elsewhere in this synopsis is for FedBizOpps archiving purposes only. It has no relationship to the actual solicitation due date and time Conducting Business with the Government In order for contractors to conduct business with the Department of Defense, the contractor must provide registration information to the System for Award Management Registration (SAM). All Offerors must be SAM registered prior to receiving an award. Registration instructions may be obtained and online registration may be accomplished, at www.sam.gov. By submission of a quote, a vendor acknowledges the requirement to be registered in the SAM database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from the solicitation. When available, the solicitation documents for this project will be accessible via FedBizOpps at www.fbo.gov. No CD's or hard copies will be available.
