The item intended sources are: Parker Hannifin Corporation (CAGE 93835) P/N: 3833212 or Trelleborg Sealing Solutions US, (CAGE 09257) P/N: S385636-5. DLA Aviation does not currently have an approved technical data package for this item, nor can the information be furnished by the government. This procurement is suitable for competitive acquisition; however the Government does not own the data or rights to the data needed to purchase this part from another source; due to the fact it is not economical to procure the data or rights to the data. Any manufacturer, other than those listed above wishing to submit a proposal on this item must submit a complete source approval request (SAR) information may be found via http://www.aviation.dla.mil/userweb/sarguide.doc. This solicitation will result in an OTHER THAN FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION (UNRESTRICTED) Firm Fixed Price contract for 2,486 each. This is a Critical Application Item and a Critical Safety Item. This item is subject to Configuration Control. First Destination Transportation Program (FDT) applies. The following terms apply: FOB ORIGIN; Inspection / Acceptance ORIGIN. Delivery for this procurement will be DLA DIRECT (STOCK) ship to: Hill AFB, UT 84056-5734. Production delivery will be stated in the actual RFP. This solicitation includes provision 52.215-9023, Reverse Auction. Since a Reverse Auction may be conducted, offerors are encouraged to access the ProcureX system to self-register and review the available training tools at: dla.procurexinc.com to learn more about how to participate in an auction. Offerors who do not self-register will be loaded at the time of auction by DLA. Past Performance Automated System (PPIRS_SR) apply. Price, Past Performance and Delivery will be equally weighted. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This request is for a written quote. Please submit offers in writing. The solicitation issue date will be 14 July 2014 with a closing date of 14 August 2014.
