Description
This is a Request for Information (RFI) pursuant to FAR 15.201. This is not a Request for Quotations or Proposals. The information provided in this RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. All submissions become the property of the Federal Government, and will not be returned. Proprietary information, if any, MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED. To aid ACC-APG, please segregate and mark proprietary information. Please be advised that all submissions become the property of the Federal Government, and will not be returned Program Executive Office - Command Control Communications Tactical (PEO-C3T), Project Manager Warfighter Information Network Tactical Increment 1 (PM WIN-T Inc 1), Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland is seeking industry feedback regarding a potential future requirement for a new specially designed power cable for the WIN-T Inc 1 Satellite Transportable Terminal (STT). PM WIN-T Inc 1 is seeking potential small businesses that have the knowledge and expertise to provide a new specially designed power cable for the WIN-T Inc 1 Satellite Transportable Terminal (STT). This fully integrated and weatherproof quote mark Y quote mark power cable shall use a standard commercial STT electrical cable plug on one end and two standard PDISE connectors on the other end. Two separate electrical feeders for the two internal 115 VAC STT circuits shall be protected by separate circuit breakers on the Power Distribution Illumination, Electrical (PDISE). Power cable design specifications have been successfully tested during numerous field operations in various climates. Power Cable Specifications attached to this posting. Interested sources are encouraged to provide responses to the questionnaire below. Interested parties are invited to subscribe to the Federal Business Opportunities website to ensure they receive any important information updates connected with this RFI. Follow-up requests for feedback should not be made through the Fed Biz Ops posting agency. Vendors may be contacted following submission for more detailed information. Questionnaire: 1. Please provide a one page description of your company's capabilities and previous and current Government contract experience. 3. What information, technical or otherwise, would your company need in order to propose on a solicitation for such a cable? The Government does not presently intend to award a contract, but is seeking to obtain delivery, capabilities, and other market information for planning purposes. Please make your responses and detailed and as thorough as possible. Responses to this notice are not offers and will not be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The Government will not reimburse contractors or responders to this notice for any costs incurred in responding or in any subsequent exchange of information. The U.S. Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any private sector input as a result of the market survey. The U.S. Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this survey. All proprietary and restricted information shall be clearly marked. Any documentation provided will not be returned. All interested sources are invited to provide responses to the questionnaire. Please submit responses to the questionnaire electronically as one complete document in the questionnaire structure in a format chosen by the responder. Interested sources should submit the requested information, as well as any questions, no later than 1200 hrs EDT on 10 July 2014 by email to Allison.a.gregory2.civ@mail.mil.
