- Description
- The National Park Service SF Major Activity Buying Office intends to negotiate a sole source procurement action to Intermountain Advantage Group for the purchase of 9 Datasym Point of Sale (POS) equipment at Big Bend National Park. The system is consistency with the fee collection software and database the park has been using for more than ten years for their fee collection program. This company created the software and has the expertise to work with our historic as well as future data functions. No other software is currently compatible with that system. The proposed contract action covers supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals; however this notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Inquiries and proposals received within ten (10) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.
