- CORNING BRAND WIRE REQUIREMENT CORNING BRAND WIRE REQUIREMENT Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) Acquisition Directorate (AD) is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation (HQ0034-14-T-0094) in order to locate a qualified contractor, which can provide CORNING BRAND WIRE for Ft. Detrick, Maryland.The Facilities Services Directorate (FSD) maintains and operates Department of Defense (DoD) facilities in the National Capitol Region (NCR-Northern Virginia, DC, and MD). The requirement will be solicited as full and open. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this requirement is 335921 (FIBER OPTIC CABLE MANUFACTURING.). The solicitation will be awarded as a single award - firm fixed price type contract. The geographic locations where the supplies will be delivered to will be Ft. Detrick, Maryland as specified in Section H of the solicitation. Offerors shall refer to the CORNING BRAND WIRE solicitation for detailed information regarding this requirement. No partial quotes will be accepted. Quotes shall be received by 1:00pm on Wednesday; 16 July 2014. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunities web-site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site.
