- Description
- THIS IS A FULL AND OPEN COMPETITIVE ACQUISITION. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Center for Injury Prevention and Control (NCIPC), Air Division of Violence Prevention (DVP) intends to solicit and award a Cost Plus Fixed Fee contract, in accordance with FAR Part 15 - Contracting by Negotiation, for the acquisition of the effort entitled, "Research on the Efficacy and Feasibility for Essentials for Parenting Toddlers and Preschoolers." The purpose of this acquisition is to conduct a pilot evaluation of the efficacy and feasibility of the Essentials for Parenting Toddlers and Preschoolers program by utilizing a single-subject repeated measures multiple-baseline design. Potential requirements will include Project communication, Evaluation Plans, Assistance with obtaining necessary clearances, evaluations implementation and data collection and management. The NAICS code for this procurement is 541720, Research and Development in the Social Sciences and Humanities with a size standard of $7M. The anticipated period of performance shall be 24 months from date of contract award, with the goal of the the first year being to complete OMB and IRB applications (which will be completed by CDC with assitance from the contractor as needed). Prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award. CDC estimates release of a solicitation on or about July 25, 2014 with an estimated proposal due date of September 8, 2014. The CDC intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for these services. Solicitation number 2014-N-692142 will be posted on the Government wide Point of Entry (GPE) at www.fedbizopps.gov on or about July 25, 2014. All responsible sources must submit a proposal in accordance with the released solicitation, which shall be considered by the agency if received on or before the designated due date stated within the solicitation. Interested parties should contact Corina Couch, the CDC Point of Contact for this notice via email: at vns7@cdc.gov no-later-than 2:30 PM on September 1, 2014 to confirm their intent to submit a proposal. Please be advised the Government will not maintain a bidder's list for this procurement. Therefore interested parties are responsible for periodically monitoring www.fedbizopps.gov for the corresponding solicitation and subsequent amendments.
