- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Office of Acquisition Resource Management (OARM), Emergency Response Service Center (ERSC), on behalf of the Office of Research and Development (ORD) and under the authority of FAR 6.302-2 intends to award a sole source procurement to DigitalGlobe, Inc for the purchase of satellite imagery. This imagery will provide a worldview-2 eight band satellite imagery covering 456 km2 area with UTM projection WGS84 Zn49 North (m) projection comprised of a clipped portion (456 km2) from catalog IDs 1030010019C4C600 and 10300100260E6200. The first ID was collected 06/07/13 and the second ID was collected 08/15/13. Data are composed of 46cm panchromatic and 1.85m multispectral bands. The Government is continually seeking qualified vendors in obtaining a source list of similar specialty trade. DigitalGlobe Inc is the only satellite data distributor and owner of the satellite imagery that the Government knows. The Worldview-2 satell ite is the only high-resolution 8-band satellite that provides 46cm panchromatic resolution and 1.85m multispectral resolution. If there are any other capable and qualified vendors in the market industry, the EPA requests a capability statement from you.
