- This is a sources sought notice for market research purposes ONLY. This is NOT a request for proposal or a solicitation. There will be no compensation provided for any submissions provided to the Government. The Mission Installation and Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Jackson is conducting market research to determine availability of interested small business (to include: 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, SDB, and WOSB/EDWOSB) firms that are capable of removing electronic and safety equipment from twelve Army Military Police Vehicles that were phased out due to them reaching their life cycle. The equipment removed from the phased out police vehicles will be installed on the twelve new Army Military Police Vehicles. This is a request to determine whether or not small businesses are capable fulfilling this requirement. This sources sought is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to award a contract. The Government will not reimburse participants for information voluntarily provided. All information that is provided is strictly voluntary. Responses to these notices are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The information provided will be used to determine availability of capable small businesses, including socioeconomic small businesses indicated above. Any resultant contract will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. The NAICS Code is 811213, with a Small Business Size Standard of $10M. Interested small businesses are encouraged to review this Notice and the attached DRAFT SOW to familiarize themselves with the requirements of this project, and provide capability statements that contain and address the following areas: 1. Company name, CAGE Code, and point of contact information to include name, title, phone number, and email address. 2. Company size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the proposed acquisition. 3. Experience: Provide a list of recent relevant contracts (same or similar in nature of work, size, and complexity), including Contract Number. 4. Address capability to provide contractor personnel for the specific task in the DRAFT SOW. Information Submission Instructions: 1. Questions regarding this Sources Sought Notice should be received via email only not later than 12:00 PM (EST) on 14 July 2014.
