- Description
- Work includes, but is not limited to: contractor shall provide labor, materials, equipment and supervision to perform the following work: Remove approximately 1000 square feet of existing drywall partitions. Remove (3) 3'-0' x 7'-0' wood doors and doorframes. Remove (1) 3' x 4' window frame and window. Remove approximately (630) square yards of carpet tiles. Remove (1) Kitchen cabinet unit and (1) whiteboard lecture cabinet. Remove (5) SPST light switches. Remove (11) floor electrical and data floor outlets. Remove (2) 120 volt wall outlets. Remove (1) fire alarm speaker strobe and (1) fire alarm strobe. Install approximately (920) square feet of new drywall partitions. Install (2) new 3'-0' x 7'-0' doors, door hardware and doorframes. Install (1) previously removed door and doorframe. Install (1) new 5' x 20' window in moved door. Install (1) new 3'x4' hollow metal window frame and with new ¼' glass. Paint approximately (1,220) square feet of new drywall partitions and approximately (3320) existing drywall partitions. Install approximately (630) square yards of new carpet tiles. Re-install previously remove kitchen cabinet. Install approximately (150) square feet of new glass storefront with new double 3'-0' x 7'-0' double swinging doors. Paint (6) metal 3'-0' x 7'-0' door frames. Install (16) new 120 volt wall outlets. Install (10) new data wall outlets. Install (3) new 120 volt floor outlets. Install (3) new data floor outlets. Install (6) new ceiling mounted Occupancy sensors. Install (6) new light switches. Install (2) new pneumatic thermostats and connect existing VAV boxes to new thermostats. Move (2) supply air light troffers and move (2) return air troffers. Air balance (3) VAV's in construction area. Install (6) new fire sprinkler heads. Reinstall (1) previously removed fire alarm speaker/strobe. Reinstall (1) previously removed fire alarm speaker. All work will be performed at the Federal Building, Aberdeen, South Dakota. Security clearances will be required for all workers. Work to be completed within 45 calendar days after notice to proceed. Estimated cost range is between $25,000 and $150,000. The solicitation will be issued at www.fbo.gov on July 28, 2014, with offers due on August 19, 2014. Anticipated award date is August 30, 2014. Information regarding a site visit will be announced in the solicitation. This procurement is being set-aside for small businesses only. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov. All responsible sources submitting an offer will be considered. A site visit is recommended. All those in receipt of the Government Documents are expected to safeguard the Sensitive but Unclassified information of this project in accordance with the 'Document security for sensitive but unclassified building information,' GSA Order, PBS 3490.1A, dated June 1, 2009, which PROHIBITS the COPYING, DISSEMINATION, OR DISTRIBUTION OF THESE DRAWINGS, PLANS, OR SPECIFICATIONS TO UNAUTHORIZED USERS.
