- General Decision, dated 07/04/2014 Photos & Location Overview, Salinas, CA Conceptual Drawing Drawing: Electrical & Mechanical Drawing: Elevations & Section Drawing: Site Plan and Floor Plan Statement of Work. Clauses and Provisions. See Sections L and M for Technical proposal requirements. SF-1442. Provide your price here. Provide construction services to expand existing steel building used to house growth chamber in controlled environmental experiments. Shall be same height and width as existing building, expanding 52 feet. Contractor shall: 1. Perform soil bearing tests to determine allowable soil bearing pressures for foundation design, by a Californai licensed Professional Engineer, and excavate near existing footings to determine placement of new footings. 2. Prepare building drawings for Architectural Plans and Elevations, Structural Framing and Foundations Drawings, Mechanical and Plumbing Drawings and Electrical drawings, to be stamped by California licensed Professional Archtiects and Engineers. Work includes foundation excavation, concrete footings and slab pour, insulation, erect steel frame of building, install metal panels on wall and roof to match existing Buidling 47 exterior, insulate with faced fiberglass to meet local and Federal Energy codes, doors, and plumbing. Meet electrical requirements including lights, outlets, exhaust fanes, cooling/air handling, and HVAC. Provide A/C and exhaust fans. The estimate price range is between $100,000 and $250,000.
