- Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source Contract: The U.S. Air Force, Material Command intends to negotiate and issue a sole source award to obtain three (3) Hydra-Drake Inc, Dynamometers for test stands located at Hill AFB. The anticipated purchase date of the Hydra-Brake Inc Dynamometers is expected to be 17 July. Hydra-Brake Inc is the only source that can provide the specific Dynamometers that fit the test stands. U.S. Air Force Material Command intends to negotiate this requirement under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The sole source procurement will be awarded as a simplified acquisition in accordance with FAR part 12 and 13. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination to compete this procurement based on a response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interest parties who believe they possess the capabilities to satisfy this requirement should submit a capability statement demonstrating their abilities to meet this requirement. All responses should be in writing via e-mail, fax or mail prior to 10th July 2014 at 1430 hrs MST.
