- Description
- The contractor shall provide all labor and equipment (except as otherwise stated) to assist, collaborate and support the 422 Joint Tactics Squadron in collecting, validating, and disseminating Expeditionary Combat Support Air Force Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures documents to the Air Force. The contractor will gather Lessons Learned and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures to codify into tactical doctrine. The contractor will participate in a process to collect emerging tactics from around the world, evaluate that information through a formal vetting process in accordance with applicable Air Force references, and disseminate the information to our operational Expeditionary Air Force. This is a commercial acquisition. This pre-solicitation notice is to inform potential offerors of a solicitation that will be posted on or about 19 May 2014 and will be issued as a service disabled veteran owned small business (SDVOSB) set aside under the North American Industry Classification System code 541611. The contract will be a firm fixed price contract with a cost reimbursable contract line item number. The proposed performance period is a base period from 1 August 2014 to 30 September 2014 and two (2) 12-month options. A pre-proposal conference and site visit are tentatively scheduled for 28 May 2014. If you plan on attending the site visit, you must coordinate with the 87th Contracting Squadron no later than 23 May 2014 in order to gain access to Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ. All potential offerors must obtain a Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number and register in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to transact business with the Department of Defense. Failure to obtain a DUNS number and register in the SAM may result in the delay of award of contract or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror who is registered in the SAM at the time of award. The offer due date will be stated in the solicitation. The entire solicitation will be made available only on the Government Point of Entry (GPE Website) at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The solicitation can be accessed by following the links on the GPE website to: USAF Offices, Air Mobility Command, 87 Contracting Squadron. Paper copies will not be made available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the website frequently for any updates/amendments to the solicitation. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a proposal for this solicitation must have a Commercial and Government Entity code.
