- Description
- The intent of the contract is to realign and improve the 9 mile switchback on NFSR 153 (Clear Creek Road). Trail #627 (Clear Peak Trail) occupies this switchback and does not currently provide enough space for adequate parking. Proposed work is at the 9 mile marker on NFSR 153 on the West Zone of the Lolo NF in Sanders County, MT. The location is accessible all season long. The work associated with this project includes but is not limited to improving traffic site distance by realigning the current alignment, constructing more floodplain width, providing equipment to improve aquatic living environments, placing riprap, prevent sediment from entering the stream and to provide soil erosion measures. The contract time will be approximately 365 calendar days. Work is estimated to start at time of award and end September 1, 2015. Quotes are due on August 12, 2014. Estimated price range is $25,000 to $100,000. The solicitation will be available on approximately July 23, 2014, and can be downloaded from this site at that time.
