- Attached is the copy of the J&A to describe why this contract is being awarded sole source. The 502nd Contracting Squadron at JBSA-Lackland, TX intends to award a Sole Source contract to Clinical Research Management Inc, 1265 Ridge Rd Ste A, Hinckley OH, 44233-9801, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The proposed contract action is for a six month bridge contract to inlcude FAR 52.217-8 Extensions of Services (fill in information is 15 calendar days from expiration date) for CAMD, on a sole source basis due to changes of the follow on contract and to increase competition for the follow on contract. The NAICS Code is 541712 and the small business standard size is 500 EMP. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the agency. Proposals must be received not later than 1 July 2014, 12:00 p.m. (Central Standard Time). A determination by the Government not to compete this proposal procurement action based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for information submitted in response to this notice. Information received will be considered solely within the discretion of the government.
