- The Finch-Henry Job Corps Center is requesting quotes for the Predestriain Bridge Repair. Work is to remediate erosion problems at the foundations of the pedestrian bridge, repair damages of both decking and railing. This project is to help insure the safety of both staff and students and extend the lifr of the bridge. The work includes repair/backfill of the eroded bases under each side of the approach slabs of the bridge. Overflow from the storm water channel has eroded the soil from under the approach apron for the bridge. The design and construction requires clearing all vegetation and loos material to prepare to re-establish bearing for the concrete slab, using rip-rap and/or concrete placed/pumped under the slab. The work also entails some closure forming on the sides of the slab to pump/place concrete. There will be a mandatory Pre-Quote Meeting and Walk-through on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Finch-Henry Job Corps Center. The meeting will be held in the conference room of Building #1, Administration/Health Services. All interested vendors must attended the meeting and walk-thorugh in order for the quotes to be accepted.
