- Scope of Work Replace Boiler Plant Deaerator Piping Vendor shall, provide specifications, drawings, labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for the installation of a new steam supply piping system for Building #22 Boiler Plant Deaerator Tank Steam Supply System. Steam supply system shall be installed in accordance with current VA Construction Standards http://www.cfm.va.gov/TIL/, VHA Safety Device Testing Manual (edition 2008-062 or C.E.) https://www.vendorportal.ecms.va.gov/FBODocumentServer/Document and ASME standards www.asme.org. Vendor's installation shall include the time required for all site visits, and any verbal & electronic communication needed to gather information for the piping & equipment installation. Installation for the new piping system will be from the supply valve connection off the main header to the connection at the Deaerator dome inlet, to include all valves, safety valves, pressure reducing valves, gauges, by-passes etc., and new catwalk as required by VA standards & testing manuals. Vendor will meet with the Boiler Plant Supervisor in the Plant, to review the installation parameters at the earliest stage, and prior to final submissions. The new system shall be installed, in parallel, with the existing system remaining operational, until the new system is considered accepted for operation. The final tie-in or shutdown is then not to exceed one day. No changes to this Scope of Work without prior approval of the Contracting Officer.
