Delivery: TBC To be cited on individual orders issued hereunder, 289.00 Duration of Contract Period: Anticipated to be 3 years Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a Requirements type contract for the purchase of C-130 Ball Screws. The resultant contract will have a 3 year ordering period beginning at time of contract award. Failure of the government to purchase such items in the amounts or quantities described in the schedule as "best estimated" or "maximum" will not entitle the contractor to any equitable adjustment in the price under the government property clause of this contract. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency but award will not be delayed to qualify additional sources. Option to Extend Services clause, FAR 52.217-8, has been incorporated in this solicitation. This option will be evaluated in accordance with FAR 52.217-5. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), Justification: Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Government does not own the data or the rights to the data needed to purchase this part from additional sources. It has been determined to be uneconomical to buy the data or rights to the data. It is uneconomical to reverse engineer the part.
