NASA/JSC is hereby soliciting firms to attend this event on Monday, July 21, 2014 at the NASA/JSC Gilruth Recreation Center. The Gilruth Recreation Center does not require a NASA badge for access. The presentation to industry will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Alamo Ballroom. One-on-one communication opportunities will be scheduled from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, July 21st and from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 22nd. Provide information on the current Bioastronautics Contract (BC). 2. Promote competition on the potential HHPC acquisition. 3. Share the Government's current vision for the Human Health and Performance Directorate. 4. Allow NASA/JSC to better utilize industry input to improve future Request for Proposals. Industry Day is open to all firms that are interested in pursuing contracting/subcontracting opportunities on the HHPC effort whether they have performed work at JSC or not. All interested parties are encouraged to attend. No recording devices are permitted during the Industry Day presentation or one-on-one communication sessions. A Question and Answer Session will follow the Industry Day presentation. If a potential offeror requires accommodations for any disability, please work with Janelle Holt via e-mail at janelle.holt-1@nasa.gov at least five days prior to the event. ONE-ON-ONE COMMUNICATIONS: To facilitate interactive communications with industry, NASA/JSC will also be available for a One-on-One communication with individual companies in conjunction with Industry Day. The purpose of these communications is to provide industry with the opportunity to better understand the existing requirements under BC and to allow industry an opportunity to provide input on the questions asked in the posted Request for Information (RFI). In addition, the Government may ask for additional clarification on written responses to these questions. The communications are intended to be question and answer sessions in which neither side will be making a formal presentation. Any company may request a one-on-one communication. Each communication will not exceed 25 minutes in length and attendance is limited to six persons. Scheduling of appointment times will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. Appointments will be scheduled every 30 minutes between 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on July 21st and 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on July 22nd.
