- The U.S. Census Bureau is looking for companies that can provide support and expert consultation for the following tasks: - Research quality assurance best practices (e.g., best practices adopted by the American Association for Public Opinion Research and the American Statistical Association) used to prevent and detect interviewer falsification used across the major Survey Research Organizations (SRO) within the U.S. and at least one international research organization. - Research and evaluate the strategies used by the SROs, both technical and methodological, to implement the best practices. - After evaluation, make recommendations of the most effective strategies for implementing best practices, such as the use of CARI. - Serve as expert advisor and review the best practices recommendation paper prepared by the Census Bureau Quality Assurance Working Group. Any company who can provide these services, is invited to submit their capabilities relating to the work described in this RFI, to Lisa Safewright, via email lisa.r.safewright@census.gov, by 1pm eastern time on Thursday, July 10, 2014.
