- Description
- The USDA Forest Service has are requirement for a contractor to complete road repairs as the result of storm damage at sites along Little Buck Creek Raod on the Grandfather Ranger District, McDowell County, in Nebo NC. The work includes, but is not limited to, erosion control, low volume traffic control, cearing, excavation, grading, aggregate placement, hauling, dewatering work in a live stream, stream bank armoring with riprap, road ditch reconstruction, culvert installation, and bolted steel plate arch culvert installation. Approximate Magnitude - between $150,000 and $500,000 This project is set aside 100% for small business. Performance and Payment bonds in the amount of 100% of the awarded quote will be required within 10 days after notice of award. A 20% bid guarantee/bid bond is required with all quotes submitted for this procurement. Plans and Specifications should be uploaded on this site around 7/15/2014. Information on a site visit/pre-bid meeting will be posted as soon as they are finalized.
