- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the provision of an Welding/OSHA (Instructor) Program for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Complex - Pollock, located in Pollock, Louisiana. It is anticipated that this RFQ will result in award of a single indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. Award will be made to the responsible quoter who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government. The contract shall consist of a 12 month base period and the possibility of four 12 month option periods. The estimated quantities include 1,440 sessions for the base year and each of the four option years if exercised. The post-secondary, vocational training, industry-based school or individual(s) that will be responsible for providing instruction shall provide Louisiana certification and meet the primary Bureau of Prisons program objectives. The solicitation will be available on or about July 24, 2014 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up to date information about this acquisition. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of bids is 2:00 p.m. CT on August 21, 2014. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 611519. This requirement will be unrestricted. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. The website for registration is www.sam.gov. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
