Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. No Solicitation is currently available. The VA Northern California Health Care System will be issuing an Invitation for Bids (IFB) to award a construction contract to a General Contractor for Project 612-111, Consolidate/Expand Medical Procedures (CEMP) Clinic. The project will be located on the northern section of VA Northern Health Care System on Mather campus, CA. The CEMP Project will be a two-story building with approximately 17.4 K gross square feet. The primary objective of this project is to construct a new clinic/office facility with the following: 1.First floor consists of seven outpatient procedure rooms, pre-ops and recovery room, and other support spaces. 2.Second floor consists of a patient education room; outpatient clinic with six exam rooms; physician office suite and other support functions. It is anticipated an IFB will be released on/about July 31, 2014. At this point in the procurement process, the Department of Veterans Affairs is performing market research to determine contractor socio-economic category, e.g. Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, 8(a) etc. and, bonding capacity. Interested firms should send, by e-mail only, the following information: Socio-Economic Category; SAM record; DUNS number; Maximum bonding capability for a single bid and; total maximum bonding capacity. The anticipated period of performance is from September 1, 2014 through September 30, 2015, as per Government determination. The applicable NAICS code for this procurement is 236220. The Small Business Size Standard is $33.5 million. Project magnitude is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.
